AI Product Genie ("the app") is a Shopify app that helps merchants write product descriptions with AI. This policy explains what information the app accesses, how it is used, and how it is protected.

When you install the app, we access the following from your Shopify store:

• Your store's domain and basic shop details, to identify your store.
• Your product titles and details, so the app can list them and write descriptions for them.
• Your subscription status, to confirm your plan is active.

We do not access your customers' personal information, orders, or payment details.

• To show your products inside the app.
• To generate product descriptions using an AI service, based on the product details, tone, and keywords you provide.
• To save descriptions back to your store when you choose to.
• To manage your subscription through Shopify's billing system.

We do not sell, rent, or share your information with third parties for marketing.

Product details you choose to work on are sent to an AI provider solely to generate the description you request. They are not used to train AI models and are not retained by the AI provider beyond fulfilling your request.

Store credentials are encrypted before being stored and are never visible to anyone, including us. Product descriptions you generate are saved to your own Shopify store; the app does not keep a separate copy of your catalog.

When you uninstall the app, Shopify notifies us and we delete your stored credentials and connection details. Descriptions you already saved to your products remain in your store and are yours to keep or change.

You may request a copy of the data we hold about your store, or ask us to delete it, at any time by contacting us at the support email listed on our App Store listing.

If we update this policy, we will post the new version at this address with a revised date.
